For individual RV owners

# Your camper could earn more in one placement than in a summer of weekend rentals.

Agile places travel trailers and fifth wheels as temporary housing for families displaced by fire and storms. Placements average four to five months. One delivery, one pickup, paid monthly.

[Apply to become a host](#apply)

Free to apply. Nothing is owed unless you are approved.

Run an RV rental business with multiple units? [See the Regional Fleet Partner Program](/fleet-partners).

Most RV owners who rent their camper do it a weekend at a time. Dozens of inquiries, a cleaning after every trip, and a new stranger in your unit every few days.

Agile does a different kind of rental. When a family loses their home to a fire or a storm, their insurance policy pays for temporary housing. We place a camper on their own property, and the insurance company pays the lease. The average placement runs four to five months. Six to ten is routine.

One family. One delivery. One setup. A deposit every month.

We already work with RV rental companies in some regions. We need individual owners to cover the rest of the country.

## The math

4 to 5 months

Average placement

6 to 10 months

Routine

1 delivery

Per placement

Our placements have paid $2,000 to $2,500 per month while a camper is placed. At four to five months, that has worked out to roughly $8,000 to $12,500 from a single delivery.

Delivery is paid separately and varies by placement and distance.

These are what our placements have actually paid. They are not a projection and not a guarantee. What you earn depends on what we place and where.

## What Agile handles, so you don't

- **The rental.** Adjusters, temporary housing agencies, and homeowners come to Agile. You never chase the placement.

- **The customer.** Every call, question, and issue, before and during the placement.

- **Billing.** We invoice and collect from the insurance company.

- **Troubleshooting.** When something goes wrong in the unit, the family calls us, not you. We troubleshoot and line up service.

- **Insurance during the placement.** Agile can provide coverage under our commercial MBA rental policy while your camper is placed. Your housing specialist explains exactly what that covers before you accept anything.

- **Your payment.** Agile pays you on a fixed monthly schedule, regardless of when the claim clears.

## What you do

- Deliver and set up the camper at the property. Delivery is paid separately and varies by placement and distance.
- Keep your camper in good working order. If something fails, it is your unit. You can handle it yourself, or we arrange service and deduct the cost from a future payout. Either way we tell you the options before anything happens.
- Answer when we call with a placement in your area.
- Pick the camper up when the family moves back home.

## What a host gets

- Long placements. Months, not weekends. One family instead of a rotation.
- A real person before every decision. A housing specialist calls with the location, the dates, and exactly what you get paid before you commit to anything.
- No standing commitment. Your camper is not blocked off. Use it, rent it elsewhere, do what you want. When a placement comes up, you decide.
- Year-round demand. House fires and storms do not follow the camping season.

## What we accept

Travel trailers and fifth wheels, 2018 or newer, in good working condition and ready for a renter.

We review recent photos of every camper before approval. If it is not something you would hand the keys to a stranger with confidence, it is not ready yet.

## How placements are assigned

In regions where we have a fleet partner, the fleet partner gets the first call and hosts fill what they pass on or cannot cover.

In regions where we do not have a fleet partner, hosts are the first call. Right now that is a lot of the country.

## The $165 onboarding fee

It is charged once, after you are approved, and it covers real work. Photo intake and organization. Spec standardization. A unit profile a housing coordinator can match to a family in minutes instead of hours.

It also keeps this program to owners who are serious. We place families on short notice, and we cannot do that from a list of campers that turn out to be unavailable or were never really offered.

No monthly fee. No commission. Nothing else to pay.

If we do not approve you, you pay nothing. Once onboarding starts, the fee is non-refundable, because that is when the work happens.

### What it does not buy

It does not buy a guaranteed placement, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. It buys a properly built profile in the pool we call.

## How it works

1. 1

**Apply.** Two minutes. Link your Outdoorsy or RVshare listing if you have one.

2. 2

**Photo review.** We look at recent pictures of your camper. Year, type, and condition are checked here.

3. 3

**A call.** A housing specialist talks through how it works and answers your questions.

4. 4

**Onboarding.** $165, once. W-9 and a signed host agreement. We build your unit profile.

5. 5

**You get notified.** Placement opportunities in your area come by email. A host portal is rolling out.

6. 6

**You decide.** Before you commit, a housing specialist calls with the location, the dates, and exactly what you get paid. Accept it or pass. No penalty for passing. Once you accept, the camper stays for the length of that placement.

## Questions owners ask

### Do I have to commit my camper to Agile?

No. Nothing is blocked off. Use it, rent it elsewhere, do what you want. When a placement comes up, you decide.

### What if I need it back during a placement?

Once you accept a placement, the camper stays for its length. A family is living in it. That is the one commitment.

### Who insures it while it is placed?

Agile can provide coverage under our commercial MBA rental policy during the placement. Your housing specialist walks you through exactly what that covers before you accept.

### Who deals with the family?

We do. Every call, question, and problem, before and during the placement.

### What happens if something breaks?

We troubleshoot with the family first. If it is a real failure, it is your unit. You can fix it yourself, or we arrange service and deduct the cost from a future payout. You hear from us before anything happens.

### Do I need a truck?

Yes. You deliver the camper to the property and pick it up at the end, so you need a way to tow it. Delivery is paid.

### How do I get paid?

On a fixed monthly schedule, paid by Agile, regardless of when the insurance claim clears. Delivery is paid separately.

### Where do you operate?

All 48 contiguous states.
